MY STORY
Hi, I’m Sasha — a wedding photographer based in Aachen, Germany.
I was born in Ukraine in 1997 to two photographer parents, so photography has always been part of my life. Our home was filled with cameras, old film strips, and stories captured in photographs. I held my first camera before I even took my first steps.
As a child, I watched my mother work — how she used light, composition, and emotion to tell stories that felt timeless. Those early memories shaped the way I see the world today.
At 16, I bought my first camera, and it stayed with me for years — until one day, after countless memories, it finally stopped working. I didn’t pick up another camera again for a long time.
Years later, when I was in my mid-20s, my friends started getting married. Through them, I rediscovered photography — and found my place in wedding storytelling.
It felt natural immediately.
Wedding photography brings together everything I love: emotion, beauty, movement, connection, art, and the quiet in-between moments that often become the most meaningful memories.
Today, my goal is simple:
to create photographs that feel honest, emotional, and timeless — images that allow you to relive your story for decades to come.
HOW I WORK
For me, every couple is different — and that’s exactly what inspires me.
I love getting to know the people I photograph, hearing their stories, understanding their dynamic, and creating images that truly reflect who they are together.
My style blends editorial elegance with cinematic emotion — modern yet romantic, artistic yet authentic.
Most couples tell me they’re nervous about being in front of the camera at first. That’s completely normal. You don’t need to know how to pose or perform. I gently guide you throughout the experience so the moments feel natural, relaxed, and genuinely yours.
I pay attention to everything:
the big emotions,
the smallest details,
the atmosphere,
the movement,
the quiet moments happening in between.
Because your wedding is more than a series of events — it’s a story.
My inspiration comes from cinema, literature, music, paintings, nature, and everyday beauty. Films like Amélie and the visual storytelling of Wes Anderson have deeply influenced the way I compose images and capture emotion.

MEINE GESCHICHTE
Hi, ich bin Sasha — Hochzeitsfotografin aus Aachen.
Ich wurde 1997 in der Ukraine geboren und bin mit zwei fotografierenden Eltern aufgewachsen. Unser Zuhause war voller Kameras, alter Filmstreifen und Geschichten, die in Bildern festgehalten wurden. Ich hielt meine erste Kamera in der Hand, noch bevor ich meinen ersten Schritt machte.
Schon als Kind habe ich meiner Mutter bei der Arbeit zugesehen — wie sie mit Licht, Komposition und Emotionen Geschichten erzählte, die zeitlos wirkten. Diese frühen Eindrücke haben meinen Blick auf die Welt geprägt.
Mit 16 kaufte ich mir meine erste eigene Kamera. Sie begleitete mich viele Jahre lang — bis sie eines Tages, nach unzähligen Erinnerungen, ihren letzten Auslöser machte. Danach fotografierte ich lange Zeit nicht mehr.
Erst viele Jahre später, als ich Mitte 20 war und meine Freunde anfingen zu heiraten, fand ich zurück zur Fotografie — und gleichzeitig zu dem, was ich wirklich machen wollte.
Die Hochzeitsfotografie fühlte sich sofort richtig an.
Denn sie verbindet alles, was ich liebe: Emotionen, Ästhetik, Nähe, Kunst, Bewegung und diese kleinen, leisen Momente, die oft die wertvollsten Erinnerungen werden.
Heute ist mein Ziel einfach:
eure Geschichte ehrlich, emotional und zeitlos festzuhalten — mit Bildern, die euch auch Jahrzehnte später wieder genau in diesen Moment zurückversetzen.
WIE ICH ARBEITE
Jedes Paar ist anders — und genau das inspiriert mich.
Ich liebe es, Menschen kennenzulernen, ihre Geschichten zu hören und herauszufinden, was ihre Verbindung besonders macht. So entstehen Bilder, die sich wirklich nach euch anfühlen.
Mein Stil verbindet moderne Editorial-Ästhetik mit cinematischen und romantischen Emotionen — elegant, authentisch und voller Atmosphäre.
Viele Paare sagen mir am Anfang, dass sie sich vor der Kamera unsicher fühlen. Das ist völlig normal. Ihr müsst weder posen können noch wissen, „wie man richtig vor der Kamera steht“. Ich leite euch auf natürliche und entspannte Weise an, sodass echte Momente entstehen dürfen — ohne Druck, ohne künstliche Situationen.
Dabei achte ich auf alles:
auf die großen Emotionen,
die kleinen Details,
die Stimmung,
die Bewegung,
und auf die stillen Momente dazwischen.
Denn eine Hochzeit besteht nicht nur aus Programmpunkten — sondern aus Erinnerungen, Gefühlen und Augenblicken, die viel zu schnell vorbeigehen.
Meine Inspiration finde ich überall: in Filmen wie Amélie, in den Werken von Wes Anderson, in Literatur, Musik, Natur, Gemälden und im alltäglichen Leben.

MI HISTORIA
Hola, soy Sasha — fotógrafa de bodas en Aquisgrán, Alemania.
Nací en Ucrania en 1997 y crecí con dos padres fotógrafos. Mi casa siempre estaba llena de cámaras, tiras de película antiguas e historias capturadas en imágenes. Probablemente sostuve una cámara antes incluso de aprender a caminar.
Desde pequeña observaba a mi madre trabajar — cómo utilizaba la luz, la composición y las emociones para contar historias que parecían eternas. Esos recuerdos marcaron profundamente la forma en la que hoy veo el mundo.
A los 16 años compré mi primera cámara. Me acompañó durante muchos años, hasta que un día, después de incontables recuerdos, hizo su última fotografía. Después de eso, pasé mucho tiempo sin volver a tocar una cámara.
Muchos años más tarde, cuando tenía poco más de veinte años y mis amigos empezaron a casarse, redescubrí la fotografía — y también encontré aquello a lo que realmente quería dedicarme.
La fotografía de bodas se sintió correcta desde el primer momento.
Porque reúne todo lo que amo: la emoción, la belleza, la cercanía, el arte, el movimiento y esos pequeños momentos silenciosos que terminan convirtiéndose en los recuerdos más valiosos.
Hoy mi objetivo es simple:
contar vuestra historia de una manera honesta, emocional y atemporal — creando imágenes capaces de transportaros de nuevo a esos momentos incluso dentro de muchos años.
CÓMO TRABAJO
Cada pareja es diferente, y precisamente eso es lo que más me inspira.
Me encanta conocer a las personas que fotografío, escuchar sus historias y descubrir qué hace única su conexión. Así consigo crear imágenes que realmente se sienten como vosotros.
Mi estilo combina una estética editorial moderna con emociones cinematográficas y románticas — elegante, auténtica y llena de atmósfera.
Muchas parejas me dicen al principio que se sienten incómodas delante de la cámara. Y es completamente normal. No necesitáis saber posar ni preocuparos por “hacerlo bien”. Yo os guío de una manera natural y relajada para que todo fluya de forma auténtica y sin presión.
Presto atención a todo:
a las grandes emociones,
a los pequeños detalles,
a la atmósfera,
al movimiento,
y a esos momentos silenciosos que suceden entre todo lo demás.
Porque una boda no es solo una serie de acontecimientos — es una colección de recuerdos, emociones e instantes irrepetibles.
Encuentro inspiración en todas partes: en películas como Amélie, en el universo visual de Wes Anderson, en la literatura, la música, la naturaleza, la pintura y en la belleza cotidiana.
